Contract
The Principal Organizational Change Management Consultant is responsible for ensuring
successful adoption of organizational, operational, and technology transformations. This role
focuses on the people's side of change, helping leaders, teams, and stakeholders successfully
transition from current state to future state ways of working.
The Principal OCM Consultant develops and executes change strategies that increase
engagement, reduce resistance, accelerate adoption, and sustain long term behavioral change.
Key Responsibilities
Change Strategy & Planning
● Develop comprehensive organizational change management strategies for
transformation initiatives
● Assess organizational readiness and change capacity
● Define adoption, engagement, and communication approaches
● Build integrated change plans aligned to transformation objectives
Stakeholder Engagement
● Identify and analyze key stakeholder groups
● Develop stakeholder engagement and influence strategies
● Facilitate stakeholder alignment and buy in
● Establish change champion and leadership support networks
● Assess impacts to roles, teams, processes, governance, and ways of working
● Identify organizational risks associated with proposed changes
● Develop mitigation strategies for adoption barriers and resistance
● Create role based transition plans
Leadership Enablement
● Coach leaders through periods of organizational change
● Prepare managers to communicate and reinforce new behaviors
● Develop leadership toolkits and change playbooks
● Facilitate leadership workshops and readiness sessions
Communications & Adoption
● Develop communication strategies and messaging frameworks
● Create targeted communications for impacted stakeholder groups
● Design engagement campaigns that support transformation objectives
● Measure effectiveness of communication and adoption efforts
Learning & Capability Development
● Identify skills and capability gaps created by transformation initiatives
● Develop training and enablement strategies
● Support role transitions and workforce readiness efforts
● Help teams adopt new operating models, tools, and processes
Adoption Measurement & Sustainability
● Define adoption KPIs and success measures
● Monitor readiness, engagement, and adoption trends
● Measure behavioral and organizational change outcomes
● Establish sustainability plans to reinforce long term adoption
Required Experience
● 10+ years of organizational change management, transformation, organizational
development, or consulting experience
● Experience leading change initiatives within large and complex organizations
● Strong expertise in stakeholder management, communications, and change strategy
● Experience supporting operating model, process, technology, or organizational
transformations
● Exceptional facilitation, coaching, and communication skills
● Ability to influence senior leaders and diverse stakeholder groups
Preferred Qualifications
● Prosci, CCMP, or equivalent change management certification
● Experience within management consulting or transformation advisory services
● Experience supporting digital, AI, or enterprise technology transformations
● Background in organizational development, leadership development, or workforce
transformation
