Role: SFDC Release Manager with Gearset Expertise
Location: Remote
Duration: 12+ Months
Must-Have:
• Strong hands-on Salesforce Release Management experience (owning
releases end-to-end, not just assisting).
• Proven Gearset expertise — building, managing, and executing CI/CD
pipelines (mandatory).
• Deep understanding of Salesforce environments & metadata (Dev, QA,
UAT, Prod; deployments, rollback, comparisons).
• Excellent coordination & communication skills — able to work with
developers, QA, admins, and business stakeholders in the US.
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce (SFDC) Release Manager with
strong hands-on expertise in Gearset to manage end-to-end Salesforce
release processes across multiple environments.
The ideal candidate will have deep experience coordinating Salesforce
deployments, managing CI/CD pipelines, ensuring release quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, admins, and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Own and manage Salesforce release management across Dev, QA, UAT, and
Production environments
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Gearset
• Plan, schedule, and execute Salesforce releases with minimal downtime
and risk
• Manage deployment strategies, rollback plans, and version control
• Coordinate release activities with Salesforce developers, QA teams,
and product owners
• Ensure compliance with change management and governance processes • Monitor deployments, troubleshoot issues, and ensure successful post-release validation • Maintain release documentation, deployment logs, and audit trails • Improve release efficiency, automation, and reliability continuously
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Strong hands-on experience as a Salesforce Release Manager
• Proven expertise with Gearset (mandatory)
• Solid understanding of Salesforce metadata, deployments, and
environments
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and version control systems
(Git preferred)
• Knowledge of Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, etc.)
• Strong coordination and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple releases in fast-paced environments
Nice to Have:
• Salesforce certifications (Admin, Platform App Builder, DevOps, etc.)
• Experience with additional DevOps tools (Copado, Jenkins, GitHub,
Bitbucket)
Experience in enterprise Salesforce implementations
