Job Description:
•             Experience building highly-scalable, distributed backend systems in Python and PHP

•             Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL database technologies

•             Multiple years experience designing, building and maintaining REST APIs using frameworks like Flask, Django, Symfony

•             Proficiency with large-scale data processing technologies

•             Strong understanding of concurrency and multi-threaded programming concepts

•             Experience test-driven development, and writing effective unit and integration tests

•             Design, build, test and maintain REST APIs which serve web applications and microservices

•             Work directly and proactively with other teams to test full-system integration

•             Design, develop and deploy systems and algorithms that process large data sets in realtime

•             Write unit and integration tests to verify your contributions

·         •     Networking knowledge is plus and preferred
Roles & Responsibilities:
Design and build stable and scalable production systems in Python and PHP

·         Collaborate with product, data science and other functional areas to ensure technical efforts are aligned with business goals

·         Optimize queries and transformations for successful data retrieval minimizing processing time on large data sets

·         Deploy API & ETL software releases

Triage and/or analyze data defects and propose solutions to rectify issues.
