Service Reliability Engineer (SRE)
Location: Redmond, WA
Duration: Contract
Job description:
- Strong knowledge of
PowerShell or other automation/scripting technology
- Strong knowledge of C# and
.Net development patterns and a basic knowledge in SQL
- Proven working knowledge of
Cloud Service concepts and architecture
- Proven working knowledge of
Azure/cloud building blocks such as compute, storage, data-platforms,
virtual networking, identity & access, secure key management
- Experience with data query languages
such as T-SQL, U-SQL or Kusto query
- Experience in driving service
performance, availability and supportability improvements
- Demonstrated experience with
service telemetry, Alert configurations, monitoring systems and MDM
- Build monitors and alerts to
ensure timely notifications on the health of critical systems.
- Should be Familiar with
Agile/Scrum/Lean methodology and Experience managing source code and
deployment automation
- Strong analytical, problem
solving and organizational skills
- Sound problem resolution,
judgment, negotiating and decision-making skills
- Sound written and oral
communication skills, As we might need to post communications.
- Ability to manage and deliver
multiple project phases at the same time
- Ability to deal with
ambiguity associated with working in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Support a 24x7 live site
support model for the services team owns
- Ability to work independently
with minimal supervision.
