install, configure and manage the bigdata cluster.
•Monitor
and manage all ecosystem services and ensure high availability of services
along with performance tuning
•
Responsible for cluster capacity planning and estimating the requirement for
further capacity upgrades
•
Responsible for upgrading the Hadoop distribution and related packages/services
• Implement
platform and data governance which includes enabling secure authentication and
authorization, data lineage, metadata management, auditing and perimeter
security
•Manages
backup and recovery
•Deploy services
and applications in co-ordination with development team
•Able to
work in shifts
• Manage
and review Hadoop log files.
